Great condition...

I have chance to buy this sub from a friend. Retail is $1000 and he will sell it to me for $250.

I think the sub sounds great which is obviously the most important thing but would like to get some feedback from you guys!

For 250 in excellent condition, it's not bad. It looks more like a subwoofer for music rather than home theater, I wouldn't expect a 10" driver to ever get real low. However a good 10 incher can really rock with music.

For $250.-- I don't think you go wrong. I would buy it. It's a nice little sub.

Well i went ahead & dove in. Bought the Grotto & 2 days later it blew up on me! Why the heck did you guys tell me to buy it??

Dang Geena that friggin driver MOVES! Its got a good 1.5"-1.75" of excursion. Paired up with my B&W AS2 the two of them do more than their share of LFE.
