The DVD-S550 and DVD-S-1500 look quite impressive but don't upconvert.
Specifically the Yamaha DVD-S550
Has anyone tested this baby.
The specs/feature set is unbelievable.
NTSC/PAL Conversion, Progressive Scanning, 108MHz/12-Bit Video DAC, 192kHz/24-Bit Audio DAC, CD Upsampling (2x and 4x), MP3, JPEG, DivX, WMA Playback with Navigation Display and the list goes on.
All this for under $200 Canadian.
Someone tell me that the picture rocks :p
