Last week I took the plunge and purchased a pair of B-Stock RS450s from AV123 for my bedroom HT. Speaking with both Mark and Suzanne I was assured that any past company problems were just that, in the past. I've purchased from them before and always had a great experience so I decided to buy from them again. With the high quality of their speakers and their low prices I don't want to go anywhere else.
I rated the transaction and Reseller Ratings if you'd like to check it out.

Anyway, here are some pics of the B-Stock speakers I just received.

I've no doubt some people had bad experiences with AV123 in the recent past. But from what I understand they are making every effort make up for those past problems. I chose to give them another chance and I'm very happy with my decision.

Exander,
Congrats on your experience and your new speakers! Those cabinets are beautiful.
Have you had a chance to give them a listen? If so, how do you like them?
Thanks.

Oh yea, I listened to them. As soon as I could I was all over those boxes! They actually sound better than my 750s right now just because the 750s are stuck in a really small room and the 450s have much more space. They are outstanding speakers, both of them.

Congrats exander. I'm also considering b-stock from av123 for a 5.0 x series. Did you have any unexpected fit or finish issues with the b-stock?

I didn't notice any fit or finish issues. I did notice that whoever had them before me (they were probably warranty returns) stuck little plastic slider "feet" on them to protect the bottoms of the speakers. I had to pry them off (they were glued on) to put the risers on.
They usually list in the description any "blemishes" or other issues. Also, you can give them a call and they'll give you the run down on them.
Good luck and enjoy.

It's nice to hear someone is happy with them, they went through a bit of a rough spell. Very nice looking speakers by the way also congrats!

Congrats, those look nice. I just hope they make everything right with those who gave their money and didn't get their order!

those look great ! i have suspected, and i am now pretty certain. that the maker of those cabinets, is the same maker of the SWANS cabinets. the wood is the same, the tops/bottoms are the same, and the shape is the same. not that that is bad, i'm just sayin. that said. get an LED light. now look over the cabinets, look at the corners, all of the corners.

oh. and the "socks" are the same. did you get white gloves, and/or wire ? being b-stock, perhaps not.

Why?
I'm guessing the blue tint of the LED flashlight will help highlight any flaws; I know they help my aging eyes.

Why would I want to highlight flaws so I could see them?
If I can't see them that's great! :D
