I saw on panasonic.com that the biggest plasma model for their 2009 lineup is only 54''..thats ridiculous,im looking for at least 58 or 60'' and i thought i would have a pana but now i will have to look at other brands with larger screens!

The TH-65PZ850u is still available as is the 58" they aven't announced a replacement for those sets yet. They tend to stretch the model lifespan of the larger sets a bit longer.

Hi Ho is correct. The large sets, 58" & 65", typically will not update until Aug. or so. Don't worry, just have some patience.

thx and my choice is already made :D it will be the 65'' in the s1 series the only difference being the thickness at 3.5 to 4 '' and no viera cast wich i dont need..so their price will be less then the v10 or g10..cant wait untill august now!:D

One of our customers has grown out of his 65" Viera after only having it for a year. He just ordered the 103" Pro panel for his theater. Now we have to figure out how to get the bloody thing into the basement. LOL

I just bought the 65" pz850 and its amazing.... not sure how much better the new 09's are going to be, but I have no regrets pulling the trigger on this Plasma...

My buddy who is a huge Pioneer fan and has one was extremely impressed with it when he helped me set it up. Thought the blacks were pretty darn fantastic, and it comes with all the Viera cast which I really like and look forward to them adding more content....

The prices are dropping on these units - they are worth snatching them up at the outgoing prices...
