Check out this Danish audio-stuff manufacturer:

Acoustic Reality (http://www.acoustic-reality.com/)

Their speakers look really cool and interesting (glass panels!) but the cable section is well...

I'll quote from their literature:

3) After the cables are made they are treated with a secret fluid, which improves the sound quality very much.

So, judging from THAT, I wonder about their speakers...

While thier stuff is certainly stylish, they are using some solid technology in the electronics. Active crossovers, room EQ, plenty of stuff for good sound in there.

The solid plate transducer is certainly nothing new, but thiers looks really cool. It's even more invisible than Martin Logans!

I will admit that the line about the secret liquid in the wires was a bit much. Maybe they're peeing on them and don't want to admit it.

Agreed. Too bad Audioholics doesn't have a bigger staff. It'd be cool to do some analysis on ultra cool/expensive stuff like this. If these things sound good, I'd be willing to bet the system would garner a high WAF.

call me crazy, but I personally find their speakers very ugly! just my opinion though... Made their sound quality would make me like them but it would definitly not be for their looks, that's for sure.

Jaxvon,

Previously you had said you were a student. Not to be mean or harsh, or anything, but when do you have time to attend classes. You must spend as much time surfing as I do. But at least I'm at work and do not have to attend classes (unless it's something about abuse of government equipment like using the computer to surf).

BTW, you have some good finds. Keep it up.

When I spill my secret sauce (coffee) in electronics it usually gets worse!

Too bad Audioholics doesn't have a bigger staff. Well we are always looking for qualified volunteers :D

After the cables are made they are treated with a secret fluid, which improves the sound quality very much. Based on my experience and opinion, if you can't trust a manufacturer and/or publication about something as simple as cables, how can you trust them for anything else ? ?

Ahh snake oil. That o'so wonderful substance. Can make a Bose acoustimas sub sound like a JBL-B460 hmm on second thought. NOT

That is like the time this sales person was telling me that Oxygen free cables are made in vacuum. I responded yes most probably inside your head. Lots of free space in there.
