Hi all,
My sister has a large vinyl collection which she hasn't used in years. She was thinking of hooking up a turntable. What's the least expensive, decent preamp and turntable around these days?

I recently bought this, Audio Technica PEQ3 (http://www.needledoctor.com/Needle-Doctor-Phono-Preamps-and-Stereo-Phono-Preamps-1-800-229-0644-Audio-Technica-PEQ3-Phono-Preamp;jsessionid=0a0109441f43d56dc6e196b146dda23b d0df2c2c9dff.e3eTaxmKbNaNe34Pa38Ta38Oahr0). It seems to work nicely, but will only work with moving magnet cartridges. The price is low and it was recommended by TLS Guy.
Check out Needle Doctor's selection of turntables and cartridges - you can sort them by price. I doubt if she wants that $150,000 model .

I see this one has a built-in preamp and is only $99. Something like this will probably do the trick. Thanks!
