Sin City BD - awesome

I hadn't seen this movie in a while and I had forgotten a lot of little bits from it and just how entertaining it is. I was able to pick it up brand new from a person who got it from Canada. I have not seen a US release date for this one, but I expect we will see it in the not too distant future, likely mid next year. Picture quality is excellent as expected and the sound is solid as well.

Sin City was scheduled to be released in the States on Blu-Ray October 21st this year, but was put on hold. Buena Vista hasn't given a new release date yet and has left us in limbo. When it does come out I'll buy it.

It was on sale this past weekend for $12.99 at Futureshop in Canada...land of Sheepstar. While the video and audio are excellent, there are absolutely no special features, so I would suspect they are going to delay it long enough to come up with some additional supplemental material and/or the "director's cut".

Yeah, I saw that too. Highdefdigest and a few other sites list it as being postponed and the last word was that Disney confirmed it had been postponed and it'll be released "early 2009." I guess we'll find out in a few weeks if Amazon or the high def sites are correct.

I picked this up a couple weeks ago but I haven't had time to watch it yet. I'm expecting it to be an awesome picture.
