Blu-CD? New from Sony

Interesting, but what will it actually mean for us consumers? CD sales are in the tank, so I don't know that this will help revive it any.

Here is the main bit: The company has found a way of burning discs using Blu Laser Diode technology whilst maintaining compatibility with existing CD drives.

This will only work better if record companies learn how to master some albums correctly.
Personally, it smells and looks like grape Kool-Aid. :p
