Those who are on the west coast, I just picked up a AVR 4802 R from Magnolia HIFI for $1000.


Its a fantastic deal for a great receiver.

Also whats a good place to buy cables, Subwoofer cable.
I am also looking for a HDMI DVD player.

I'd recommend the 12 gage wire from Axiom Audio (www.Axiomaudio.com). It runs about $ .85 USD per foot, has a good thick insulator, and alot of strands to make it a very flexible cable. It's what they make their cables from. You can also find some good quality stuff at www.accessories4less.com for decent pricess.

You may want to check out Signal Cable.
This guy makes custom cables and interconnects has rave reviews for his stuff.
I got some of his shotgun bi wire and gotta say it opens up the music that even the wife can notice.
I also got his Sub interconect and it also improved the responce.
