Sad news. He died after complications over an ATV accident. A saw them live a few times, very talented. RIP.

I read about his passing this morning. Really sad. What is confusing is that I read that after the accident he went back to LA and then had to go back in the hospital and then died. Maybe it was some internal injury that they missed.

Crazy. It says he was injured in JUNE, so I would guess it was some kind of internal injury / bleeding that wasn't caught. Very sad.

I use Crash as auditioning material. Very well done and a good variety of sound.

What are your favorite songs...my favorite song of theirs is called The Stone on the album Before These Crowded Streets...they opened up with this song at one of the concerts I went to and it was awesome...

I spent way too much time listening to this band in college.

Best Live song: two step
Best Studio Track: Proudest Monkey
Best Album: Before These Crowded Streets

All my opinion of course...

I haven't listened to these guys since Stand Up came out, but this news had me pretty gloomy for a while.

The band will recover and I'm guessing they'll play with more guests from now on. They're already becoming somewhat of a nostalgia act, which is what I didn't want to happen to them.

I used to see them play at the Bayou in DC every Wed for 700 people or so. I have not heard them do halloween live in years over 10 at least. I really don't get to see shows because I am on the road 10 months out of the year....

Proudest Monkey is a great tune IMO:). I heard two step every time live...not my favorite live song of theirs along with Drive in Drive out...gotta agree with on your favorite album:)

Unfortunately I did listen to it once. Then I stopped all together.

I did get to hear Halloween in Inddianapolis (I think Indy) back in 2003 (I think 2003). It wasn't as good as on the Recently recording, but kinda cool to hear.
