New to Home theater

Hey guys,

Brand new to the home theater world. I just bought Boston Acoutics MC130 5.1 speaker system. Now am looking for an AV recevier. What would you guys recommend? Would the Onkyo TX-SR606 be a good choice?

The 606 is a fine receiver, but to know if it's right for you, you need to decide if it has the features that you want.

A number of people here are pretty familiar with receivers in that price range, so we should be able help you out. Are there any features in particular that you are wanting? For example, HMDI connections, video processing, etc.?

Honestly , not looking for any features in particular, I'd just like to able to hook up my PS3, dvd player and tv up to the receiver. Also, would like the receiver to be compatible with my mc130 speakers. Price range ~400.
