I just purchased Definitive Technology BP 7006's with BP1.2 surround speakers. The center channel is ProCenter 1000. This is on back order.... but while waiting for it I started researching the ProCenter 2000 and the CLR 2300.

The CLR 2300 seems bulky and one more thing to plug in along with more subwoofer cables. I would not know exactly where to put it without it looking out of place.

Would the PC1000 work well with my system or would the PC2000 be worth the price difference of 150?

What are the advantages or disadvantages of each?

I think the CLR2300 would be a perfect fit for the BP7006; they both have the 1" tweeter and 4.5" midrange drivers. You should only hook up the speaker wires. Don't even bother with the Full-Range Center Input on the back of the CLR2300.

The PC1000 would match your BP7006 better than the PC2000 because they both have the 4.5" midrange drivers and 1" tweeter. The PC2000 has the 5.25" midrange drivers.

So my first choice would be the CLR2300 and second choice is the PC1000.
