I have a person selling me a set of Paradigm monitor 5s for a great deal. I have listened to a few of the studio series but none of the monitor series. These are the floorstanding monitor 5 speakers. Has anyone heard these? At the rate I am going I am going to have a set of speakers in my bathroom before I know it......:D

Due to the moisture level in the bathroom an all weather speaker is a good idea. Mazer probably has a whole list offerings at several price points. I was only able to come up with this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/JBL-N26AWII-2-way-6-All-Weather-Outdoor-Speakers_W0QQitemZ170213759256QQihZ007QQcategoryZ1 4995QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262

I was kidding but now that I think about it .... tunes in the can would be kind of nice. :)

Edit: Not only is it a sickness, it's freakin' contagous!

At what price can you get the Digms? The Monitor series doesn't come close the the Studio series IMO.;)

always, always buy the higher series. that way, you can save yourself a few upgrade steps. skip to the studio series :)

I feel your pain. I wish I could offer you a cure for your sickness, but I can't (not sure if there is one, except maybe bankruptcy. That is why it is called "Audioholics".:cool:)

35 bucks for a no damage pair of monitor 5's is a good gamble to re-sell for a profit IMO :)

Hell, what are you doing online? I'd get moving on that one, get over there and make the purchase! Sell 'em or keep 'em, for a price like that you really can't go wrong. I've seen cheap Sony speakers in a pawn shop sell for more than that. :p

If you really want to get rid of the cat;
Next time don't say 'Free Cat.'
People will wonder why it's free.
If the sign were to read 'Cat Five Dollars'
It would've been stolen the first night.
The same holds true for the speakers; your friend
was going to throw them out.
Instead he's selling them to you for $35.:D
