Sunday

Saw the Toshiba A-3 HD-DVD selling for $95 at the "new"
compusa in Clearwater Florida today. They had about 9 or more to sell.

My Wal-Mart store is selling one HD-A3 for $75.:D Wal-Mart decided to sell any remaining HD DVD players for $75, regardless of the model apparently.

The "new" CompUSA, I love that. Rumour has it that they'll be relegated to internet sales eventually. They're so expensive compared to everyone else.

If it were an XA2 for $75, it would be a deal :)

I find it amusing people still keep spending money on a product that is no longer being manufactured, has no chance of increasing in monetary value, has little to no support, amazing the human psyche!

I am not interested in buying one of these players. I would probably get the HD-XA2 if I found it for cheap just for the scaling. After seeing the Reon HQV scaler in action you kinda get that urge.;)

Agreed.

Or 20 bucks for a A2 or A3 as a back-up to my current A2 I'm there as well.:)
