Recording digital signal on DVD recorder

How will we continue recording on DVD recorder when all channels go digital?

I assume you are talking about OTA signals from the broadcast networks. (ABC, Fox, CW, CBS, NBC, MyNetworkTV, PBS, etc.) The 480i outputs from your cable or satellite set top boxes will remain unchanged.

Use a digital TV converter box ($40 off with a coupon from the US government--the better ones even have S-video out) or upgrade to a DVD recorder with an ATSC tuner.

Or get a DVD-R with an ATSC tuner, which is the only way you can purchase a new DVD-R that has an interenal tuner.
