hdmi not working on hd A2 player

my tohsiba hd A2 player's hdmi out stopped working, I tried firmware update disc and nothing. the cable is good because it works with my cable box. anyone out there who can help???

Are you using an HDMI switcher - I had some issues with my HDMI switcher with the A2 and had to swap it out for another one. If you are using a switcher try connecting direct and see if the problem goes away. If it does, may mean you need a different switcher.

I had some issues with mine too. I use a switch also and it would drop the image randomly. I disconnected the A2 from the switch and then plugged it back in and it works fine now (with everything powered on). It can have to do with turning on certain devices first, as I know that with my switch, the paperwork said you had to power on devices in a certain order for handshake to work properly.

I am running it str8 through to the panny. No picture,logo,nothing. ???? all happened in one day
