Mybe you all could help me out, im looking for speaker plans and articale that came out in the 60s or 70s. They were in popular machenics or electronics not sure. The speaker had 4 12 or 15 inch woofers 8, 8inch midrange and 8 tweeters. Thanks for the help Brad Smith

Maybe somebody could tell me where I might find these plans. If not maybe somebody could me with a how to build a speaker like this. thanks again

There was tons of that garbage around back then. Forget it! First of all, how would you find all those drivers? Next why on Earth would you want to build a speaker designed before the publication of Thiel and Small"s paper?
There are very, very few speakers from that era that were any good. I can tell from your description of that speaker, it wasn't one of them!
Put your cash and effort into something that will have a better chance of success.

If you are interested in large line array speakers, check the new LS series from AV123:

Better still avoid long line sources. There is far too much driver interaction and comb filtering. Been there done that!
