...I'm thinking about ordering this, Fireplace: Visions of Tranquility (http://www.amazon.com/Fireplace-Visions-Tranquility-Blu-ray-HDScape/dp/B000V6LSTK/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1203629291&sr=8-1), so I can have something nice in the background when I'm studying. I've had a few friends who've had something similar in hte past and some have been good and some have been awful. So I don't want to waste my money if it totally sucks.

Anyone see or hear anything about it?

Thanks

Jack

ps. I know these things are kinda cheesy but if theyre done right theycan make a nice occasional background piece.

I kind of thought about trying it but then decided I didnt want to burn time on my display just for effects.

I've always liked the Solitude audio recordings of rain/thunderstorms for things like that.

OK, I got it today and I'm not impressed nor would I reccomend it to others. Whereas the PQ is quite good, it is filmed too closely. A more appropriate title would be along the lines of "Firelog: closeup of burning log." The flames are cropped off the top of the screen because it is framed with about the bottom middle third only of the fireplace showing, or does that make it a sixth? Either way its too bad because the picture itself is quite good. Bottom line: Dissappointing.
