I tried to view a 90s series called Earth 2 tonight from Netflix, it said my internet connection was too slow and it would take 56 minutes before it would play. So then I cancelled it and went to speedtest.net and checked my speed, I was getting 19M download which is really fast. I hate Netflix says that its MY connection speed problem when it's the Netflix servers' inability to handle the demand. Anyone else have a similar experience with the Netflix Instant service?

I hear a lot of people complain about it, but I have never had a problem. It's worked perfectly for me every time, and as of late I have been watching something almost every day.
My connection really is too slow. Broadband isn't available out here in the boonies so we use satellite which very crowded for the amount of available bandwidth. I can't watch Netflix on demand either. The movie will start right away but stop after a few minutes. Video on demand is not going to be useable technology for me, I'm afraid.

Not only that but if your satellite provider is WildBlue, they cap a customer's amount of monthly downloads and video streaming would cause a customer to go over their limit quick.
I'd rather watch Netflix DVDs on my 61" anyway :)

My only problem with Netflix Instant has been their selection. They put the worst movies on there, haha.
