I'm in the market for a pre-pro cm bo with a 10k budget. I' considering the mcintosh mx 136 pre and mc207 amp or anthem d1 pre and ps amp. any opinions on ny well kmnown brand would be apppriciatred, thnx

I the mx 135 and mc 206,, which is 120 wpc but the mc 207 i ordered which is 200 wpc and it is the best ive ever heard and ive heard the d1 and p5 combo.

Ok, I am interested in getting a good preamp/amp combo as well. Upgrading from a Yammie 1500.

I was considering Sherbourn PT-7000 PreProcessor
& Sherbourn 7/2100 7-channel Power Amplifer

Now I read this link and looked up these amps and found that they all seem to be top rated products. Hopefully someone will shed some light on this topic to help me and others make the best choice.
