LOL, stubbies. Probably stands for some floorstanders, but he just put them on there. Not real useful for bookshelf speakers IMHO...

They are Mapleshade stands, which means two things. First, it means it was way overprice. Second, it means the owner is a fancy dancy audiophile that thinks the clever little clocks work.:D
The auction has 3 days left and 12 bids already, it will go far beyond that as most of the bidding will occur in the last few hours of the auction.:)

Haha, maybe if you put two together, on the floor, and then layed a rectangular center channel on them they'd be kinda cool for aiming the center channel at the sweet spot.

Haha. I guess it's nice of him to throw them in.
I found someone selling the stands I use for my M&K S-150s:

Good thing he/she recommends local pickup, they are make by York (the barbell company) and probably weight 50-lbs each, at least. When I bought them I remember shipping was crazy (over 100-lbs and came in wood crates, haha). Best stands I've ever owned though, I'll never get rid of them (or the speakers, for that matter)
