Good low height speakers

I need some good speakers ($2Kish) with a height of no more than 2 feet. Any suggestions?

Sounds like maybe you are trying to put these into some sort of cabinet, if that is true, and the cabinet has a back to it, you will need to get front ported speakers so as to reduce the impact of stuffing speakers inside an enclosure.

That can ruin the sound or at least have a great effect on it... usually not for the better..
