Cd -dvd Players

Hello all. I am thinking of upgarding my CD - DVD Player. I crrently have a cchaepy LG V8824W.

I am currently running a Denon 3805 AMP, Sound Dynamic RTS 9's (Energy make em) so I know that is OK. What sort of money should I except to pay to buy a better quality one and also what difference will it make when listening to stuff if any difference at all....or is it all just hype......

If you use a digital connection (SPDIF or HDMI) it makes no audible difference.:) It may make a very slight difference to purchase a stand-alone CD player or a higher end DVD player (but why not just get a Blu-ray player huh?:D).
