Hi
Welcome to the forum
In that price range I would add the Panasonic HE200 and the
Pioneer VSXD 811s to your short list both offer alot of bang for your buck and will have no trouble driving the Infinitys
Cheers

im a long time harman kardon diehard...and my advice is to get the denon. I have heard many great things about it, and most people say that the denons are better, but I always end up with H/K cuz of aesthetics.

actually. I would say, that if your gonna come here, and you are planning to be a good "audiophile", then skip the entry level steps. Do it right the first time everytime. Grab a multi-channel amplifier and seperate pre-amp. Use the infinitys for a while then your ready to step up to a kick *** set of speakers when DVD-A becomes rampant. But that is ALWAYS better said than done.

Denon is good though..

This thread is over 5 years old.

But if you want to give your vote, it's OK with me.

See how many audioholics thread "1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and
start it all over again." In this case 5 years.;)

Is such receiver still made (unlikely) and if so does anyone remember it? No wonder I had never heard of those Infinity speakers.
