Re-Foaming Speakers

Anybody have any experience with re-foaming older speakers? I have a couple of 8" drivers that the foam is torn and starting to rot off after 14 years and after researching replacing them at 70$ each x 4 thought of looking at having them re-foamed or possibly doing it myself. Any ideas?

A friend, who is in his own words "not very handy", bought refoam kits for his 10" drivers and he was able to refoam them without incident. They sounded pretty good afterwards. Check out www.madisound.com www.speakerrepair.com and www.partsexpress.com He got his from Parts Express for around $10 ea.
