Putting TV on top of a center speaker

I have a 37" Sharp LCD and I was wondering if I could set it on top of a center channel (a Paradigm Monitor CC-290/190), or if I need to build something around it. I'm having some furniture issues...

Is that speaker large enough for the TV legs? I'd feel better about just building a solid shelf above it for the TV.

The center channel needs to be able to be tilted to the listening position. But if that is the only way to go? Will it support the weight?

It should support the weight; I can stand on mine and I am 200lbs. Warp has his 50'' plasma on his center.
