View Full Version : TV Audio is C-l-i-p-p-e-d

The Audio is clipped:mad:

Nothing has changed, everything worked fine last night, then today we turned it on to watch the Parade ...the audio is clipped. the Picture is fine, just the audio is on the fritz.

Everything else works, CD, DVD's play fine thru the TV and the Surrond Sound.

Can't be the HDMI Cable, because the Picture is fine.

The TV upstairs works .................

Has to be the Cable Box?

The TV is a Sharp Aquios, new in July.

Is this on all channels on that TV? Something in the cable box menu reset mysteriously?

Its the forest, tree thing...... I read this post, then smacked the palm of my hand to my forehead = DONK!

Reset the cable box and its good now. I had this problem previously with the box cutting out, then the Cable box died. This box is like 3- 4 months old, so I'll bring it back soon before it dies for good. (Cablevision recycles all these boxes)

Glad you found the answer, too bad that these tv boxes have so many issues, still. Not like it was just invented yesterday:eek:
