how to use a sony cdx-a30 cd changer

i just got a car with a sony CDX-A30 cd changer and i dont know how to use it. the remote is a RM-X1F. the radio works fine but ive tried everything to get the cd changer to work but cant. please help. thanks.

I found the message was from last year, so don't know if you've fix the problem. If not, maybe here's a tip, as I had been fiddling with the antique Sony A bus stuff for a while.
Generally the A series of changers are great solid and realiable stuff, so the problem might be in the connection. Check the plugs into the modulator, both from the changer and the remote control. Try to unplug it and plug it in and fasten it with with the 2 little hooks in the plug.
Don't know if this makes sense to you.

I am trying to figure out the wiring for an old Sony car 10 disk cd changer model number CDX A30.
Most of the connections are obvious but the ones listed below I am not sure.
Red
Black
Yellow
Orange with white stip
Any help would be appreciated.
