Hello i was wondering if the experts on here could help me pick out the products that were needed to make a good sounding set up for about $2000. I need 2 loud speakers, a center speaker, and depending on if the loud speakers call for it a SW. I also need an receiver and what ever else is required in setting it up. Thank You!

Are you going to be listening to music, watching movies, or both?

For your price I would go with a Denon 1804 you can find it for under $450

All of your speaker wire and interconnects are going to run you about $50 (depending on what you are hooking up).

Get a Sub-woofer it makes a world of difference I would go with the Dayton from Parts Express for $124.88 find it here: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=300-632

Now on to speakers....After all of the rest of the stuff out of the way you have about $1,375 left So you can get a very nice Home Theater set up, or a great pair of stero speakers. I like Jamo but that's me!

Don't forget tax and shipping....and any other componets like a DVD, CD, SAT, etc...that you might want to add. :) :)

You may consider - Denon 1804 and Mission speakers: M34 (Tower), M3C2 Center and M31 Rear. Add 10" Sub and all together shoud fit your budget.
I have been enjoying it. Try it.
