picking a CD player

So if you want to use the digital out on a CD player is there a big diffrence in sound quality between a cheaper and a more expensive player? I know in analog there can be a large range of sound quality but what about digital?

i think you can even use a dvd player to play your CD's if you are using digital outs and you still wouldn't hear a difference between it and an expensive player also using digital outs.

Some DVD players have excellent CD sound through analog outs, also.
