Thiel's website (read reviews on CS2.4) suggest they start at $3900. Of course that's list.

I was recently auditioning the 1.6's and I checked out the 2.4's for grins and giggles... I grinned all night because the sound was fantastic, I giggled the next day because I couldn't believe that i was considering payin $4100.00 for a pair of speakers.. so tere you have it! They do sound very good though!
Ouch! That's a hefty price to pay, but sometimes necessary. Yeah, Baby, yeah!

I just got a new MSRP list from Thiel and I think they just raised the price of the 2.4's to 4400. I was going to consider them but they are now over my self imposed limit on what I want to spend... Instead I am going to auditon the B&W 703's and the Meadowlark Osprey's. The only problem I forsee with the Meadowlark's is the matching center channel for the Ospry's is very very large for a center channel so that might not work for me...and it is very $$$ for a center...

Maybe you can also try a Kestrel 2 center channel? Let us know what you think about the Meadowlarks vs. the B&Ws.

I have auditioned the 703's and liked them very much. They a natural sound to them, not too bassy, and nice on the top end.
