s-video on rx-v559

i just got a new computer, so i have an old crappy hp kicking around that i'm not using. I figured because i have the space in my ht setup, i could hook it up to my receiver, buy a wireless keyboard, and use it as a music server.

so, how do i go about hooking a computer up via s-video to a yamaha rx-v559? should i preset the resolution on my computer? help me out here.

If the video card has an s-video output all you need to do is connect it to any of the s-video inputs on the receiver. Getting a decent image on the TV is another story unless the TV is a CRT.
