It was only a matter of time (~13 seconds) before the GF noticed the MC-616C was about 4x the size of our old center channel. I recently got a pair of MC-6C's and they sound great but kinda drown out the weak center the system had to be played at high volume to get clear sound out of it so I went an picked up the MC-616c this thing sounds awesome paired with the MC-6C's. I set my receiver to Movie: Drama for everyday TV watching and it makes it feel like the program was recorded in surround.
Im total n00b at the audio, so I’m sorry I couldn’t give a better review then wow they sound good.

I guess I'm an idiot but what brand? I can tell your old center was an RCA speaker.
:D How soon before you move those 6C's to the back and add two more 616C's for front L R duties?

emorphien they are RBH's
Actually I don’t think it’s going to be long before I move the 6C's back and either do 2 616's or 6CT's. That’s going to require some major saving though since my GFAF = gift equaling 1/3 ht purchase.
here's the pic I took with my phone.

See, what she should REALLY be concerned about and saying is "What the heck is that oversized air freshener doing next to my TV?!?!?!"

Yes that one of my cats bob, he’s a handsome little guy isn’t he? Im still only using one I don’t want to hear “What that next to the …?!?!” and 1 works well. Since the addition of the center I haven’t even heard the sub come on.
Hahah that’s not an ionic breeze it’s a small footprint fan. Wii have some pretty intense tennis tournaments at our place and when you get 8 bodys in an 800sqft apartment that fan becomes a life line.

Teh GF picked those out of the cheesy catalogs from work.....they were her 5yr anniversary gift. They have 15W bulbs in them and they put out the perfect amount of light.
