I'm trying to decide between the ML Ascents and Aeons for front speakers. My room size is 24x14x14(cathedral ceilings). Is there a significant difference in quality/sound between these 2 speakers, or are they fairly similar? Appreciate any helpful comments.

In that price range you may consider the Magnepan 1.6QR (http://www.magnepan.com/1-800-474-1646/mg1.6.html) (~$1500), or check Audiogon (http://buy.audiogon.com/cgia/fsb.pl?spkrplan&1&ctg&st1) to see if there are larger Martin Logans for sale in your area. I'm a frugalphile so if I can save several thousand dollars on those puppys I will, especially since most poeple than own them keep them in safe enviornments.

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to check out those two companies and see if I can listen to them live.
