I am looking to buy a 65 inch plus TV. Currently Mitsu WD-65831 is a front runner ( I'd like to look at the JVC coming out.. but I can't find anything ) ANYWAY... I once spent quite a few bucks having a TV calibrated and didn't see much dif. I bought a Panny 50 incher and took the settings from someone else's set ( once calibrated ) posted in a site and use them..looks fine to me.
So in your opinion is the calibration worth the $$$ ??? And whadda think of the diamone line mitsu??

Firstly the Diamond Mits is definitely a great buy. With a 6 color light engine, it does open out possibilities in calibrating it to near perfection.
Make sure the calibrator is experienced, especially make sure he has done work with your particular model.
Cal works.
happy viewing,
J :)

Mits usually rolls out the new line around July. The JVCs have received great reviews the last couple of years.
