Can the group please comment on my confusion between the Denon 2200 and the 2900. I have an Anthem pre-pro and amp with a Martin logan speaker setup. Need to get an Universal disc player and cannot understand the differences in:

1. Build quality

2. Audio Quality

3. Video Quality

Thanks in Advance

Absolutely.. the 2900 it's a battleship.
The construction quality is the same as we can expect from Denon, but believe me, it's 8 kg of hard quality. Sound is incredible, I have a 5.1 B&W series 600 speakers and it's awesome. Video.. the same as 2200 incredible too, maybe the 5900 with Faroudja video procesor will be better, but that it's (for me) expensive.

I've had a 2200 for about 3 months now. Can't complain, kicks the sh*t outta the upscaling HD-931 Samsung I used to have in all respects. Mostly got it for multi-channel audio playback, but it had such a good picture it ended up replacing the Samsung.

Can't comment on how sound/video compares to the 2900.. I wanted silver anyway, don't think the 2900 comes in silver ;)
