Denon DVD-955S A Good Product And A Good Deal?

The Denon DVD-955s for $280 seems like a lot of DVD player for the money. I Googled it and did not find any reviews, not could I find any threads about it here on Audioholics. Is there a "gotcha" or is it a good deal?

I will give it a bump and see if I can knock loose some feedback on the DVD-995.

This is the same player as the Denon 2910.

Just the model number is different. Something about retail vs dealer markets.

I don't think it's stolen. Huppin's/OneCall has it on close out for 279.00. I've debated getting this myself and vacillate between that and the Oppo 970.
