*mods please move this to the Music area, Thanks*

The color is absolutely stunning with the very dark stage lit with deep purples and blues from the LEDs or with the entire stage bathed in an eerie reds. The picture quality is quite impressive, easily among the better BDs that I've seen so far, and the Dolby True HD audio track was very well done as well. The previous concert DVD, And All that Could Have Been was also impressive with good video quality and a full bitrate dts track (separate dts version...), but this one was able to take it a notch higher IMO. I went to the last show of this tour and really enjoyed it and this disc did a pretty good job of capturing the feel of their stage presence, however the show they put on was a little different than what I saw. In the extras, there are a few tracks from the modified show that we saw, with a projection screen in back and a LED screen in front that gave a very cool 3D effect between the two. In particular, I liked Closer, in which Trent is up front with one LED screen that looks like blood dripping down on to him and filling up the screen. The sound mix was at least as good as the previous DVD if not better, and just like the show, they kept a good mix of tracks from all of the albums. All in all, I give this one a big thumbs up. If you are a fan, it is a must have IMHO.

That makes him Nine times cooler than a frozen nail.

I am planning on getting this on Blu-ray for sure. I went to The Downward Spiral tour way back when and have like Nine Inch Nails for as long as I can remember. I really don't care too much for his newest album though. I haven't looked at the concert disc, is it a whole show and what songs are played? I also heard there are videos...?

With Teeth is a little different from their previous stuff, but it grew on me very quickly and I enjoy it as much as the other stuff now. The disc has a lot of the new stuff though... Yes there are some very cool videos on there, 3 that are rehearsals from 2005, 2 music videos, one for Only that is WAY cool - Trent singing in one of those "pin cushion" things (digitally, but still cool), and the same video for The Hand That Feeds from the dual disc version of With Teeth. There are a couple of bonus tour tracks also that are either different versions of songs that are already in the main concert cut (like I mentioned, the show changed either part way through the tour or for certain shows) and a few that are not, and also a stills gallery.

One additional cool thing was the Dolby True HD speaker level check...:D

One thing I would have liked would have been to see at least a little footage of Bauhaus, who opened for them and actually did a few songs with them. It was very cool when the lead singer of Bauhaus came out and sang "Dead Souls" from The Crow, something I hadn't expected. Maybe there is some stuff on there as easter eggs like the last one had with Marylin Manson.

Dead Souls you say...SOLD! The crow soundtrack and movie were great!

The soundtrack is great, and even the score is pretty good from The Crow. I had the soundtrack before I saw the movie, which I saw in the theaters on opening night, Friday the 13th :D (still have the movie stub, keep it with the DVD).

I was listening to it some more last night and I have to say I am very impressed with this disc.

I have this as well. Didn't see Dead Souls on the track list though..?

Did anyone else think the guitar was a bit overdone in Closer? I think it was mixed in way too loud on this one, kind of covers up the cool electronic noises during the chorus.

No, they did that at the show I went to... I was saying it would have been nice for them to have included it on the disc.

Which version of Closer? :) Yes, the one in main set was a bit hot.

Aww, no Dead Souls on the disc...? The Perfect Drug and Dead Souls are my two favorite tracks that are not on any Nine Inch Nails albums. Both The Lost Highway and The Crow soundtracks are pretty good.
