Don't know if it matters ,I think it is 13 gage? Brand of cable is IXOD. Asomeone that has very little experince @this I can honestly say it can be Monster or whatever .you spend alot of$ and time going back to the store on account the plugs for example on the audio/video kit from monster are loose on the component. Thanks in advance ,I'm learning a lot with you guys

I found some that are reuseable. Rather than crimping(permanent,one-time use) these have a cap that unscrews from the bottom, you insert the bare wire, fan it out, then replace the cap & it secures the wire inside. A bit more $ but they can be used over & over, good if you need to adjust length or simply just make a mistake.

These are compression style, just screw it down nice and tight and use some heatshrink to seal it down.

If you are sure that the wire is 12 gauge or smaller, just run over to the nearest BB or CC and get a four pack of AR bananna plugs for $5.5 (yeah the Daytons at Parts Express cheaper but not after the $6.50 in shipping is added). Anyway, there are four to a pack and they have a cheaply built set screw that will strip out if over torqued so be careful - you can set the screw lightly and then solder it like I do though.
Another choice is RAM Electronics, they have WBT Clone locking Banannas for $5.85 each (soldering required) among others

I think this should help you out....I recall it being one of the many things I recently went through to "limit my ignorance" when putting together my system...

Are you sure you really need bananas? I seem to recall the opinion around these parts that one doesn't, unless they plan on switching things around a lot...just a thought.
