I must say that I am glad to see this site continually evolve to better help its members gain more knowledge for this addiction so many of us have. With that being said, I really feel like there should be a catagory for "software" such as DVDs and multi-channel audio sources. I think it would be a great way to get real world critiques of movies and music to help us all get the most out of our investments.
We could have a catagory where "5" different movies are listed on a weekly basis, where any of us can leave a rating for sound, picture, and the story line. A brief description can also be used to help others know what was so great or not so great about the movie.
Another catagory for Multichannel music. (with a similar format for the movies)
I know on several occations threads were started discussing these topics, eventually getting burried by other threads and losing their appeal. I think it would be a great way to help when trying to decide which movie to watch, or what SACD or DVD-A would be worthy of adding to our collections. After all, what good is a great HT w/o anything good to play on it? :
