Boston Acoustics PV1000 Sub???

Just wondering of the Boston Acoustics PV1000 sub is any good? I found a local deal that is selling it for under $350. Audioreview.com rate it a high 4. Is it worth the $350 of is there something else better in that price range? I listem t music 75% of the time and the rest movies.

Sir,
I had a PV-1000 and it is a pretty good sub. For $375 get it. I upgraded to the Velodyne SPL-1200 series 2 which would take at least 3 PV-1000's to equal her power AHHHHH HAAAAA HAAAA HAAAA!

Well I picked up the sub for $320 and it works fine. Only problem is the sub keeps moving around on my hardwood floors. Any ideas how to hold it down? I might just place it on a small piece of carpet.
