Has anyone who recently purchased a new

set of speakers paid attention to the manufacture date and/or any metal legs/parts that came with the speakers? I recently purchased a new set of speakers and the boxes seemed opened (i.e. the original packing staples were not there). Also, when I took out parts that required assembly some of the metal pieces looked like they had rust spots which makes me think that they were possibly stored in a damp environment. Has anyone had a similar experience?
