View Full Version : InFocus IN76 Keeps Dying!!!!!
My forth IN76 projector just died! The first had a broken zoom,,,,the next three blew the internal fuse after less than one week (approx 6 hours) of use. When I called in for the third one, they told me they had a run of units blowing fuses but this one wasn't part of the expected serial number range. They sent me number 4 and it lasted one week...two or three movies and the internal (can't be replaced by a consumer) fuse blew. The first two were on an APC Audio/Video UPS...they asked me to remove it as it's not putting out pure sine wave. The third was on a dedicated circuit for my theater via a surge protector. The forth was on another circuit via a surge protector. Needless to say my wife is pissed and doesn't ever want to see another InFocus product. I happen to like this projector and want to try one more. Has anyone else experiened this problem? Any sugestions?

Time to give up and get another brand?:D
Doesn't that APC only a standby unit if power fails and passes the real 120V/60Hz power otherwise?
