I've sold my Denon 1910 (Couldn't resist the price offered by a friend - and I was moving). Anyways, I was looking into my car's glove compartment and found a $50 Best Buy gift card that's been in there for how long.

Went to Best Buy, and what do you know, it's still valid. Now I need to replace my 1910 with something similar. I don't expect it to be as good, but should be a good upconverting player. I'm itching to put the $50 to use. :D

Models I can think of off hand.

Samsung 860, 960 (Faroudja)
Panasonic s42 (OMG, that tray is more fragile than Eric Lindros!!! )
Some Phillips player.
Sony HDMI, 5 disc HDMI

I guess it depends on how long you want to keep it. The BB's in my area had squat, so I bought I Panasonic S97 on-line (also Faroudja). I wanted a good player for a few years because HD-DVD is a couple years away from getting my attention.
