how does these yammi's sound and compare to other brands? i dont believe we can purchase this highend line in the US?I know that they are not available in the US. Really sucks. Yamaha just dropped that line (HX) and came out with another (NS325) to replace them.

Honestly, I really like the NS-8HX's. I am having a difficult time letting them go. I just have a hard time getting used to the sound of NS-C7HK.

You can really let the NS-8HX's loose. They sound bloody awesome when turned up. Let me put it this way....I have had them vibrate my eye balls. My vision started to shake. Let's just say I did not listen to them at that level for very long. :rolleyes:

ps: I was originally listing them as HK's but they are in fact HX's. Sorry for the confusion.
