Well, I've gone over this a for a couple days, and I've made the most logical and cost effective solution to my speaker problem.

I will sell my receiver, Pioneer VSX - 815, and purchase the Logitech Z5500 speaker system.

Now I'm sure some of you will probly suggest that I keep it and wait, but please dont, it'd just get on my nerves.

I have a 3 point seller rating on www.pcapex.com, which means I have sold three items, and the buyer has been satisfied. I have also shipped a 40 pound package to hawaii ( dont ask, the guy wanted alot). Which was packed for war! I also receiver a seller rating. As well as www.misticriver.com, I bought an Iriver H120 mp3 player, money went fast, and stayed in contact. Ok, you get it, I'm a good seller!

Anyways!

Here it is.

(Btw, the sticker is gone)

Here's a review on this very site!

http://www.audioholics.com/productreviews/avhardware/PioneerVSX-815ReceiverReview1.php

I have had it for about 3 weeks, and have not used it once, as I didnt really have any speakers to use with it.

Quitter. ;) Shipping to 34209? I was looking at buying the cheaper VSX-516 for close to the same price.

Shipping would be around 15$, and I would insure it, but dont worry about paying for that.

If you still have it by the end of the week it should be as good as mine. The only thing stopping me is if my buddy cops out and doesn't buy my old setup, as that is what is facilitating my upgrade.

As friday nears I spoke to my friend after work last night in preparation of packing up and removing my old system from use and getting my wiring neat and tidy for easy install of new stuff.... Well we have a slight setback, he says his paycheck won't be as nice as he had hoped this week but he still wants my gear, he asked if he could pay half this week and then the other half the week after next (bi-weekly pay schedule), ofcourse since I'm selling this to my best friend I agreed

I'm unsure, but I think he wants to take the stuff home with him after he gives me the half payment. Due to not having a system I may have to buy the lower VSX-516K for $150 since I won't have enough to pay you for another 2 weeks, I'd hate to have to ask you to wait that long. If anything changes you will be 1st to know.

Sorry bro':o

Alraighty.

I will say though, this item has been open to the first person who can throw down the money, so I cant gaurantee that it will be here in 2 weeks.

Ok then, I wasn't trying to back out, I do want your reciever. I have an idea, since I'd rather buy from someone I know ( at least marginally so), why don't I just commit to buying your reciever by sending 1/2 the cash for it when he pays me? I have to know it isn't going to be sold though! Not that I am mistrusting you or anything:cool: Do you still got the mcacc mic?

Since I am getting serious about this, would a few pics be possible? All Just of the back connections, and various controls, and if any marks, that too?

LMK,

-Mike (darkandroid@msn.com)

Hi Waffle, I'm very interested in this receiver also.

I've been looking into buying a new Harman Kardon for a while, but the new HDMI specs (1.3) and new audio codecs (Hi.def DVD formats) are scary! Especially when considering an $800 receiver that will be outdated in just a year!

Instead, I began looking for an adequate receiver to last me another year or two, until they get the new stuff sorted out. Please shoot me an email, I will respond within 24 hours, and will be looking to buy ASAP. Paypal preferred.
