hi everyone,
i bought my 56" tv a month ago, now i'm getting speakers and a receivers to go with it and needed help.

i have a very small room, its about 15' x 15', thinking of getting the paradigm monitor 7 for my L/R speaker and use my old klipsch center and satellite speaker for surround and sony sub for now. (then eventually changing my center and sat speakers and so as the sub)

i'm wondering if the paradigm monitor 7 is to big for the room i have?

the satellite speakers - i dont really know if i can use it for surround.

the sub is from an old HTIB system.

i have a budget of $400 to $500 canadian for the receiver
- for the receiver i dont really have any idea of what kind should i buy to go with the monitor 7, i'm gonna be using this room for music and lots of movies.

thank you

Since your stuck in Canada price is everything:( . Look at the Pioneer vsx1015 or 1016(newer version) also look at the Yamaha htr 5960 both are well respected in this forum. As a matter of fact some members drive their paradigms m7's or 9's with those amps in 5.1 set ups, which would be fine for your room.:)
