Music - Polk monitor 60 or BA vr-m60

Hey,

I'm looking to buy good stereo speakers, mostly for music, and somewhat for movies. I've somewhat narrowed down the list, and now i'm looking at the polk monitor 60's and the BA vr-m60's. i know the polks are floorstanding and the BA's not, but i've heard that the BAs deliver good enough bass. I'm probably not going to get a subwoofer for this setup, and am willing to spend in the vicinity of 600 dollars. Any ideas?

In that price range there's alot of options or is your search down to the two you've mentioned.:)

For music, neither of those would be on my list of auditions, but between the two, the BAs.
