I stopped by my local B&M yesterday and they are still in the middle of renovations, but I was able to audition a pair of JM Labs Chorus 714s in less than ideal circumstances. No sub unfortunately because of the renovations. I did not have any of my own CDs with me because it was a spur of the moment thing. I can find very little information on JM Labs and the 714s. My impression were (taken in less than ideal conditions) were that they sounded full with good mid bass (I like good mid bass) and lower bass so-so as expected and the highs were rolled off a bit. Pleasant and polite could be one way of saying it.

They would be for a 2.1 music (sub is rocket UFW-10). I could probably borrow them for in home audition but it would be a huge PIA because they will not fit in my car.

So before I take the next step, listening at home, l would love to hear from others about JM Labs and about the Chorus 714S in particular. I can buy them for around $500 FWIW..

I'm very curious about the JMLabs speakers, as well, since I'm running Focal K2Ps in my car.
There is a local dealer that I was going to check out, but then I came accross a sweet deal on some closeout B&W CM-6s that I couldn't pass up, so I haven't bothered to make the drive accross town.

Hey, at least I got one response to my query. JM Labs don't seem to have much a presence in the audio circle I am familiar with.

i have jmlab/focal, i personally love them. to start out i bought the sib/cub2 5.1 package & then upgraded my center to the cobalt s. wow, they're great, i'm about to upgrade my fronts to the cobalt 826s towers. they're coming out w/ a new chorus 800v series, they're supposed to be alot better & about the same price?? they're coming out in the next 3-4 weeks. the company talon uses jmlab speakers, as do alot of other companies
