I need to hook up my Xbox 360 wireless. What do I need to buy?

well yes, the wireless adapter needs to communicate with some other wireless device, so you will need a wireless router hooked up to your PC as well.

If the Xbox is the only thing connected to that network, I believe they also offer a wireless bridge you can hook up to the cable/DSL modem.

Otherwise you need to set up a wireless 802.11 network.
